2024 University of Sunderland Graduates Sharing
Graduates who would like to obtain formal qualification and award documents (transcript, verification letter or replacement Certificate), or share these documents to a third party (e.g. prospective employer, recruitment agencies and higher education institutions) may contact us via the following channels.

Application & Query | [email protected] | Graduates will need to first register to the portal via this link. You will need to provide an email address, your first and last name, your student number and date of birth. You will also need to set a password for your account. The details you provide will need to be precise, so that your request can be validated against your record in the University of Sunderland's student records system. Please note that it takes some time to set up your account.

Please note that some universities / organisations may require documents to be shared from University of Sunderland in the UK directly. It is recommended that you check with the higher education institution / organisation you are applying for about their requirements.
According to the Hong Kong Observatory ordinance, classes/examinations will be suspended when:
- Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 (or above) is hoisted; or
- Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 will be issued within two hours as announced by the Hong Kong Observatory; or
- “Extreme conditions” after super typhoons are in force (announced by the Government before the Hong Kong Observatory replaces Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 with Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3); or
- Black Rainstorm Signal is in force; or
- Advised by the Education Bureau of the Government of the HKSAR.
The classes will be cancelled 2 hours prior to the lectures when a signal is hoisted. Please check the update from the Hong Kong Observatory 2 hours before the class to see whether your class will be cancelled.

Study Room
A self-study room is now available to all students between Mondays to Fridays from 14:00 to 18:00. Signing in and out at the reception counter is required for any usage. Please be considerate to others who are using the study room at the same time and keep your study room clean and tidy (no food consumption is allowed in the room).
Prayer Room
A room is now open to our students to practice their faith and enable them to spend time in prayer. The room is available during Mondays to Fridays from 10:00 to 18:00. Students can borrow a prayer mat, however, due to limited space and the practice of particular religions, they might need to pray in small groups or take turns. Please contact the receptionist or Student Support Team for any special needs or requests.
Cold Beverage Self Service Station
A mini fridge with drinks (Coffee and Coke @ HK$10 each for purchase) and a money collection box are placed next to the computers in the student library area. We accept cash payment only and no change will be provided.
Student Common Areas
Library Corner
Students can borrow two library textbooks for two weeks at a time. *HK$2 per day will be charged for each overdue book.
Student Bulletin Boards
Students can refer to the bulletin boards for our important notices, upcoming activities and internship opportunities.

Finding Career Opportunities and Building your Professional Brand -- Recordings (Workshop 1 & 2)
Life is busy, and it can be hard to find the time to reflect on your own professional development—especially when juggling work and study. This online workshop series offered students a valuable opportunity to pause, refocus, and explore what truly matters in their careers, while gaining practical tools to support long-term success. Participants began by exploring their career interests and values, learning how to clarify their direction and uncover effective job search strategies. The session also introduced key concepts for building a strong professional brand that aligns with personal goals.
Building on the foundation from Session 1, this follow-up session focused on enhancing LinkedIn profiles, leveraging the platform to discover career opportunities, and expanding professional networks by connecting with industry experts. With LinkedIn now reaching one billion users globally—including 3.9 million in Hong Kong—students gained insights into how to stand out in a competitive digital landscape.
